Web Access .NET Installation rolls back on installing COM+

Installation on Windows 2003 x64 fails. Rolls back when trying to install COM+ components.

Remove IIS from the server and reinstalled. Run the following to allow 32 bit app on the 64 bit OS To enable IIS 6.0 to run 32-bit applications on 64-bit Windows 1. Open a command prompt and navigate to the %systemdrive%\Inetpub\AdminScripts directory. 2. Type the following command: cscript.exe adsutil.vbs set W3SVC/AppPools/Enable32BitAppOnWin64 “trueâ€ 3. Press ENTER. Run the aspnet_regiis -i -enable from the cmd prompt under C:\WINDOWS\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v2.0.50727 Check IIS and ensure that the 32bit .Net is enabled under Web Server Extensions. Run the WebAccess setup.
